Our new portable travel grill is the perfect companion for picnics, day trips, and camping adventures. Take it with you fishing or hunting, and add it to the packing list for the tailgate parties. It’s perfect for a beach cookout, and comes in handy for a grilled lunch on the job site.

Compact Design

When we say compact grill we mean compact. It weighs under 7 pounds, and when folded flat for storage, is less than 2 inches high. This compact design makes it easy to fit into small camper and RV storage bins. It’s small enough to easily fit behind a truck seat, and you won’t even notice it in the trunk of your car.

Portability

We already mentioned how small this charcoal grill is when folded down. Small grills are made for going places, and what better way to do that than with the included carry bag with its durable design and perfect fit. Both the grill and cooking grate packs easily as a unit and fits neatly into the zipper bag. The wide straps makes the portable grill a breeze to carry to its next hot destination. Setup and take-down is a breeze and can be done in less than a minute – no tools needed.

Construction

Our unique one-piece, square bowl design consists of multiple sections which fold and latch like puzzle pieces. Once unfolded, the sections form the charcoal bucket with an ash catch pan, lower grate for improved air flow, and carefully placed vent holes. The grill is constructed with rugged stainless steel plate to protect against rust. Unlike similar products using chrome-plated cooking grates, we include a stainless steel grate for improved durability and extended life.

Cooking Load

This little mini barbecue packs a punch with 190 sq inches of grilling surface. That’s enough for 9 good sized burgers, over 30 hot dogs, and enough steak to feed a family. We made it strong and sturdy for any cooking load you can fit on it. We even stress tested it with a ridiculous load of 77.5 pounds just to be sure our mini grill will be up to any cooking task. Now please don’t try this at home, and don’t sit on it. And if you ever find a steak that rivals this load, please invite us too.

Setup Instructions

Carefully unpack your new stainless steel camping grill from the box. The grill comes in two parts, the grill housing assembly (legs, frame and bowl) and the cooking grate. The grill housing assembly has multiple sheet-metal hinged parts.

Use care to avoid the sharp edges when handling the grill.

Unpack and Remove Cooking Grate

Set the cooking grate aside and carefully flip the grill housing assembly upside down. This will expose the two folded-down legs. In the next steps we will review the process to unfold the and lock the legs in position.
